Kolhapur, 26th January 2025 – Shri. Kalloli P. S., Librarian of Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya, Kurukali, actively participated in the National Conference titled “TechnoLibrarianship: A Gateway Towards Future Libraries” organized by the Department of Library and Information Science (LIS), BBKKRC, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and the Shivaji University College Librarians Association (SUCLA).
During the conference, Shri. Kalloli presented his research article on “Adopting eBook Library Management Platform Using Open Source Applications in Academic Libraries: An Opportunity.” His research focused on the integration of open-source applications in the management of eBook libraries, highlighting how academic institutions can leverage these tools to improve accessibility, management, and user experience in library services.
The conference, which aimed to explore the future of libraries with the integration of advanced technologies, provided a platform for professionals in the library and information science field to share insights and discuss innovative approaches. श्री. कल्लोळी पी. एस. यांचा “टेक्नोलायब्रेरियनशिप: फ्युचर लायब्रेरिज कडे एक दारे” राष्ट्रीय परिषदेत सहभाग
कोल्हापूर, २६ जानेवारी २०२५ – श्री. कल्लोळी पी. एस., भोगावती महाविद्यालय, कुरुकली यांचे ग्रंथपाल, यांनी बी. बी. के. के. आर. सी., शिवाजी विद्यापीठ, कोल्हापूर आणि शिवाजी विद्यापीठ कॉलेज लायब्रेरियन असोसिएशन (SUCLA) यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित “टेक्नोलायब्रेरियनशिप: फ्युचर लायब्रेरिज कडे एक दारे” या राष्ट्रीय परिषदेत सक्रियपणे सहभाग घेतला.
या परिषदेत श्री. कल्लोळी यांनी “अकादमिक लायब्रेरिजमध्ये ओपन सोर्स अॅप्लिकेशन्स वापरून ई-बुक लायब्ररी मॅनेजमेंट प्लॅटफॉर्मचा स्वीकार: एक संधी” या विषयावर आपला संशोधन पत्र सादर केला. त्यांच्या संशोधनामध्ये, अकादमिक संस्थांनी ओपन सोर्स अॅप्लिकेशन्सचा वापर करून ई-बुक लायब्रेरिजच्या व्यवस्थापनास कसे सुधारू शकतात आणि यामुळे उपयोगकर्ता अनुभव कसा सुधारू शकतो यावर प्रकाश टाकला.
ही परिषद जी लायब्ररी क्षेत्रातील प्रगत तंत्रज्ञानाच्या समावेशाने भविष्यकालीन लायब्ररींच्या बाबतीत चर्चा करण्यासाठी आयोजित करण्यात आली होती, तिने लायब्ररी आणि माहिती शास्त्र क्षेत्रातील तज्ञांना नवीन दृष्टिकोन आणि अभिनव उपायांवर चर्चा करण्याची संधी दिली. श्री. कल्लोळी यांच्या योगदानाचे सर्व सहभागी सदस्यांनी कौतुक केले, विशेषत: त्यांचे संशोधन क्षेत्राशी संबंधित आणि त्याचे व्यावहारिक महत्व असलेले होते.
