भोगावती महाविद्यालय, कुरुकली येथे दिनांक १९ जुलै २०२५ रोजी सुप्रसिद्ध खगोलशास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. जयंत नारळीकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त महाविद्यालयाच्या ‘विवेक वाहिनी २०२५-२६’ च्या उद्घाटनप्रसंगी एक विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.
कार्यक्रमाचे अध्यक्षस्थान प्राचार्य डॉ. डी. ए. चौगले यांनी भूषविले. प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून डॉ. एन. एम. पाटील (उपप्राचार्य) व डॉ. एस. एन. साळोखे यांनी उपस्थित राहून मार्गदर्शन केले.
या कार्यक्रमाला डॉ. व्हि. पी. मालेकर (कार्याध्यक्ष, विवेक वाहिनी), प्रा. एस. वाय. पाटील, डॉ. यू. एच. पाटील, डॉ. टी. एस. पाटील आदी मान्यवरांची विशेष उपस्थिती लाभली.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात डॉ. जयंत नारळीकर यांच्या प्रतिमापूजनाने झाली. यानंतर ‘विवेक वाहिनी २०२५-२६’ चे औपचारिक उद्घाटन मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले.
कार्यक्रमाचे स्वागत व सूत्रसंचालन कुमारी प्रज्ञा पाटील यांनी केले.
डॉ. व्हि. पी. मालेकर यांनी प्रास्ताविक करत विवेक वाहिनीच्या उद्दिष्टांवर प्रकाश टाकला.
त्यानंतर प्रमुख पाहुण्यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन केले.
डॉ. एन. एम. पाटील यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोन विकसित करण्यासाठी विवेक वाहिनीसारख्या उपक्रमांची आवश्यकता विशद केली व प्रेरणादायी विचार मांडले.
डॉ. एस. एन. साळोखे यांनीही विद्यार्थ्यांशी संवाद साधत विवेकशीलतेचा आणि तार्किक विचारांचा उपयोग कसा करावा, यावर सखोल मार्गदर्शन केले.
अध्यक्षीय भाषणात प्राचार्य डॉ. डी. ए. चौगले यांनी विवेक वाहिनीच्या प्रयत्नांचे कौतुक करत विद्यार्थ्यांना विवेकशील नागरिक बनण्याचे आवाहन केले.
कार्यक्रमाचा समारोप प्रज्ञा पाटील यांच्या आभारप्रदर्शनाने झाला.
हा कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनात विज्ञानवादी विचारांची आणि विवेकी दृष्टिकोनाची बीजे रोवणारा प्रेरणादायी ठरला.

Jayant Narlikar Jayanti and Inauguration Ceremony of Vivek Vahini
Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya, Kurukali
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of renowned astrophysicist Dr. Jayant Narlikar, Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya, Kurukali organized a special program on 19th July 2025, marking the inauguration of the college’s ‘Vivek Vahini 2025-26’ unit.
The event was presided over by Principal Dr. D. A. Chougule. The chief guests were Dr. N. M. Patil (Vice-Principal) and Dr. S. N. Salokhe, who guided the students with their inspirational words.
